A staircase in five square feet
A spiral stair puts a full flight into the footprint of a closet. That makes it the tool of choice for lofts, roof decks, balconies, mezzanines in shops and warehouses, and any second story addition where a straight run would eat the room it serves.
Spiral staircases look complicated. For a fabrication shop they are honest work: a center column, treads cut and welded true, and a continuous rail rolled to the curve. Ours are built to code, sized to your opening, and finished in any color.
